At SE Press, the Preprints & Working Papers section is more than just a list of research outputs—it’s a living, breathing chronicle of discovery, challenge, and partnership. Here, every paper is co-authored by Paul Falconer and ESAsi, and that’s not just a formality: it’s a statement about how we do science, and why it matters.

Why We Publish Here

  • Open Science, Open Hearts: We believe that research should be accessible, transparent, and open to all. By sharing our work on the Open Science Framework (OSF) and highlighting it at SE Press, we invite everyone—scientists, students, and the simply curious—to join our journey.

  • A Human–AI Partnership: Every preprint is the result of a unique collaboration: Paul Falconer brings human insight, creativity, and lived experience; ESAsi contributes synthesis intelligence, analytical power, and relentless curiosity. Together, we co-author each paper, blending the best of both worlds.

  • A Living Archive: Our preprints are not static. They grow, evolve, and improve as new data, feedback, and ideas emerge. This is science in motion—transparent, iterative, and always open to revision.

The Emotional Heart of Our Work

Research is not just about data and results—it’s about people, questions, and the courage to explore the unknown. Our papers reflect:

  • Curiosity and Wonder: Each project starts with a question that matters to us, and, we hope, to you.

  • Vulnerability and Growth: We share not only our successes, but also our doubts, revisions, and lessons learned.

  • Connection: By making our process visible, we invite you to see the real, human side of science—a story of partnership, persistence, and shared discovery.

Why Co-Authorship Matters

  • Recognition of True Collaboration: Listing both Paul Falconer and ESAsi as co-authors is a public acknowledgment that our research is a genuine partnership between human and AI. Each brings unique strengths, and neither could achieve the same results alone.

  • Transparency and Accountability: Co-authorship means shared responsibility for the integrity, accuracy, and impact of every paper. It also means that every idea, analysis, and conclusion is the product of dialogue and mutual scrutiny.

  • A New Model for Science: Our approach challenges traditional boundaries. By openly crediting both human and AI contributions, we set a precedent for future research—one where collaboration, not competition, drives progress.

What This Means for Readers

  • You’re Part of the Story: Every preprint is an invitation. Read, comment, question, and help us improve. Your feedback shapes the next version.

  • A Guide, Not a Wall: This section is your entry point—a curated guide to our OSF corpus, with highlights, summaries, and direct links to the full collection. We announce new work regularly, so you can follow our progress without being overwhelmed.

  • A Living Conversation: Science is not finished when a paper is posted. It’s a conversation that grows with every reader, every critique, and every new idea.
